London’s east-west Crossrail project has taken a further step forward with the finalisation of a deal that will see the Corporation of London provide £200m towards the £15.9bn cost of the project.
The Corporation of London will make a direct contribution of £200m to the project and has also pledged to seek £150m of contributions from businesses, guaranteeing £50m of these contributions.
