The Omnibus Society has named its new president for 2009 as Philip Kirk, managing director of Oxford Bus Company. He takes over from the 2008 President, Gavin Booth, chair of Bus Users UK. Kirk has 30 years’ experience in the bus industry, having started his career with Hartlepool Corporation Transport in 1978.
