The Chapel Street pedestrianisation scheme in Southport was completed last month. Chapel Street, one of the main shopping areas in Southport town centre, has been pedestrianised as part of the regeneration of Southport. The traffic-free area includes new paving, with trees, seating, improved street lighting and CCTV.
