Paris operator RATP is set to take control of the majority of Transdev’s London bus operations as part of the price demanded for agreeing to the forthcoming merger between Transdev and Veolia.

RATP owns a 25% shareholding in Transdev and is being compensated through the transfer of a number of Transdev/Veolia’s worldwide assets. In the UK, it is set to gain the London United and NSL bus businesses, giving it 750 vehicles in London, plus Bournemouth Yellow Buses....
