Road schemes feature prominently in Greater Manchester’s major transport scheme priorities from 2015 16, which have just been submitted to ministers.
Greater Manchester has submitted a prioritised list of 12 schemes with a cumulative requirement of £311.5m. Candidate schemes were ranked according to their potential to contribute to Gross Value Added (GVA). This follows the same approach used to prioritise the Greater Manchester Transport Fund in 2009.
