John Paul Construction has been named as the contractor to dual the A9 at Crubenmore, Transport Scotland has announced. The work will extend the existing dual carriageway road northwards from Crubenmore for 3.2km and is part of a programme of improvements for the A9 between Perth and Inverness. The contract award is due to be confirmed on 27 September. Work is due to start this autumn and could be completed by late next year.
