Durham car park earns Park Access EV and Park Mark Plus

Durham County Council has received two national accreditations for The Sands multi-storey car park.

The Sands Car has been awarded Park Mark Plus and Park Access EV status in recognition of the work being done in terms of safety and accessibility in parking and electric vehicle charging.

The Park Mark is awarded by the Safer Parking Scheme, a Police Crime Prevention Initiative scheme managed by the British Parking Association (BPA).
