I cannot help thinking that Transport for London’s new junction design is likely to result in more left-turn collisions with cyclists rather than fewer (‘Cyclist deaths overshadow TfL’s launch of safer junction design’ LTT 15 Nov). Once the light turns green for the left-turning motorised traffic, they will consider they have right of way and will not be looking for cyclists. However, there will still be cyclists present, as we all know how good they are at complying...
