The decision on who will run London’s new cycle hire scheme has come a step closer with the finalisation of the shortlist of bidders for the project.

LTT understands that the six shortlisted bidders are: Clear Channel; John Laing/Deutsche Bahn; Serco; Cubic; Arup; and the Public Bike System Company, the firm behind the soon-to-be-launched BIXI scheme in Montreal, Canada.
