Zapmap has introduced live pricing data directly into its map view to help drivers check charging costs at a glance.
To save drivers from tapping through multiple pins to compare rates, the current price per kWh is displayed directly on the map markers as they browse the map.
The map view can be combined with Zapmap’s price filter, which allows drivers to set a maximum price per kWh and only shows them chargers within their budgets.
“At Zapmap, we’re always looking for ways to help EV drivers find and pay for charging with confidence. We know that as the charging landscape evolves, having clear, up-to-date information is key to planning your journeys with peace of mind,” said Melanie Shufflebotham, chief operating officer of Zapmap.
“We know energy prices can change, and we want to remove the guesswork from your charging routine. This update isn't just about finding the lowest cost, it’s about providing the clarity you need to make an informed choice.
“By putting live rates front-and-centre, we’re aiming to reduce the friction of manual searching and give you a more predictable experience. Whether you’re charging near home or en-route, or at your destination, we want the cost of your charge to be as clear as the directions on your screen.”
