Lowestoft is one of Suffolk’s largest towns and a key employment centre. The decline of its traditional industries of fishing, oil and gas engineering has led to a large number of job losses. The package of measures brought about by Suffolk County Council’s LSTF project – Lowestoft Local Links, is geared to support the low-carbon regeneration and growth of the town, complementing its emerging renewable energy and off-shore industries.
