Well of course I was there. In the proverbial smoke-filled room at the bar after a PTRC session. When Peter Stonham suggested how poor the existing transport magazines were and we all agreed. If I brought out a new magazine would you all write articles and letters and, above all, buy it, he asked. Of course, we said. Well he did, and we did, and the rest as they say, is history. Market testing? Who needs it!
