The Quality Bus Corridor between Rotherham and Maltby was formally opened last Friday. Improvements over the 16km route include: upgraded bus shelters – some extended to cater for up to two buses; bus priority at traffic light-controlled junctions; new pedestrian crossings; parking restrictions; dualling of the A631 at Hellaby to ease congestion; and additional bus lanes totalling 1km.
