Work started last week on improvements to the forecourt at Chester railway station as part of the 312m Chester Rail Gateway project. The station square is being remodelled with the roundabout moved to the beginning of Brook Street near the station car park, the taxi rank moved from the east side to the west, and a drop-off/pick-up point and short-stay car parking provided.
