Judge is new chair of Vehicle Certification Agency

The DfT has appointed Richard Judge as the new Chair of the Vehicle Certification Agency (VCA).

Judge has extensive experience as a non-executive director, chair and former CEO of government agencies including three years as Chief Executive at the Health & Safety Executive and two years as Chief Executive and Inspector General at the Insolvency Service. 

Judge has also worked with UK regulators and private sector businesses.

He will be replacing Clive Scrivener, who has been Non-Executive Chair of the VCA since August 2018.
