I must point out that the Conservative Party's event to launch its transport strategy, mentioned in your last issue, took place at the Metropole Hotel in Leeds and not at Metro's headquarters ('Tories say rail will be at heart of their 'green' transport strategy' LTT 26 Apr).
This confusion may have arisen from the similarity in name and the fact that the Metropole is our next-door-neighbour.
