The Highways Agency is consulting on revised plans for the A57/A628 Mottram in Longdendale, Hollingworth and Tintwistle bypass. Traffic signals will now be installed at the B6105, A6024, A616 at Flouch, Langsett and Midhopestones and the bypass junctions. The 5.7km road (the route of which remains the same) will diverge from the M67/A560/ A57 roundabout and run north-east, passing under the A6018 Roe Cross Road, Old Road and Old Hall Lane in a 170-metre tunnel, through Swallows Wood and north...
