The number of accidents involving young drivers in Wales has shown little decline in recent years, despite an overall fall in accident numbers.
A statistical bulletin published by the Welsh Assembly Government shows that, in 2005, 435 fatal or serious injury accidents involved 17 to 25-year olds, which the bulletin admits has shown "little sign of a reduction" since 1999.
