In the story "DfT rail group to take over most SRA functions" (LTT 2 Dec page 4), the figures for staff employed at the Strategic Rail Authority and on railways at the DfT were incorrect. The correct figures are 430 at the SRA and 99 at the DfT. On the same page, in the 'More powers for Scotland' we said the railways Bill "may also give the Scottish Executive responsibility for specifying the size and capability of Scotland's rail network".
