Opposition parties welcome Crossrail Bill but ask questions about Government funding

Although proclaiming that "the Crossrail Bill will have our support" shadow transport secretary Tim Yeo claimed that the Government was "dithering over the funding" for the scheme and that the Bill "will not, as everybody knows and the secretary of state has acknowledged, advance the starting date for that important project by a single day".
