City of London Corporation is to press ahead with plans to install a cycle lane from Aldgate to Blackfriars despite facing concerns about floating bus stops from disability campaigners. The council approved the cycleway in October 2024, with two-way protected cycle lanes on Queen Victoria Street, but then paused the project to consider if proposed floating bus stops posed a risk to visually impaired people.
