West Berkshire Council has reported “strong progress” in reducing carbon emissions, with a 38% reduction its operational emissions in 2024/25 compared with its 2019/20 baseline.
In a new report, the council states that for the period July 2024 to July 2025 emissions fell from 11,619 tCO2e to 7,162 tCO2e (tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent).
