£185m project brings five long closed rail stations in West Midlands back into operation

Five new rail stations in the West Midlands that had been closed for decades are soon to re-open in a £185m project, which has been supported by £126m in Government funding.

On the Black Country line, the new Willenhall and Darlaston Stations, which last had passenger services in 1965, will open on 19 March.

Meanwhile, on the Camp Hill Line, Birmingham, the new stations of Moseley Village, Kings Heath, and Pineapple Road is due to open on 7 April. The stations will give locals easy...
