Two new UK applications of Google Transit Insights for public transport payments and user journey tracking have been announced by Go-Ahead and Lothian Transport .
Existing GTI users Littlepay and Go- Ahead have launched an alternative to physical travel passes, with passengers on Go-Ahead’s Brighton & Hove Buses now able to buy and use prepaid travel passes and season tickets directly in Google Wallet by tapping their phone on the bus – just like pay-as-you-go contactless.
