A plan for a new rail link spanning west and northwest London is moving to the next phase after Transport for London (TfL), four councils and Old Oak & Park Royal Development Corporation (OPDC) agreed to contribute up to £6.65m on further studies.
The proposed Hendon to Hounslow line, described as the West London Orbital, would create a new passenger link on under-used freight lines connecting with town centres, employment hubs and existing and future transport links.
