Ambitious targets feature in Westminster’s sustainable transport strategy

Westminster City Council has set itself a range of targets relating to road safety, air quality, access and inclusion, and health and physical activity in its 10-year sustainable transport strategy.

The strategy comprises six core policies: road danger reduction; access and inclusion; health and physical activity; air quality; climate change; and sustainable economy.

The local authority is aiming for 89% of people trips made by sustainable modes by 2041
