Former Labour ministers criticise Skates over switch in Welsh active travel funding

Former Labour ministers Lee Waters and John Griffiths have criticised the Welsh Government’s decision to abolish the Active Travel Fund and move responsibility from Transport for Wales to local authority Corporate Joint Committees (CJCs). In response, current Transport Secretary Ken Skates accused them of not trusting local authorities to make the right decisions.
