Blackpool Transport Services has appointed Lea Harrison as new Managing Director, succeeding Jane Cole, who retires after 12 years. Harrison joins from Edinburgh Trams, where he has been Managing Director for the past decade. His career in light rail spans more than three decades — he was one of the first tram drivers for Manchester Metrolink in 1991 before he moved into senior operational roles.
