Connected Kerb acquires Trojan Energy Flat & Flush technology

The Connected Kerb public EV charging networks has acquired Trojan Energy’s Flat & Flush on-street charging technology and associated network.

Connected Kerb will maintain the operation of Trojan’s 1,500 existing live chargepoints and integrate Trojan’s Flat & Flush Hub and Home products into its own technology portfolio.

Connected Kerb works with local authorities to build and operate community EV charging in residential streets and local public car parks. It also install EV charging infrastructure at workplaces, retail, destinations, car parks, commercial real estate and for residential developers.

Trojan Energy was founded in 2016 with the aim of making EV charging accessible for the 10 households without a driveway. Its patented Flat & Flush EV charging solution is designed and manufactured in the UK to minimise the impact on streets. Since its inception, the business has deployed 1,500 chargepoints in partnership with 12 councils.
