The Welsh Government and its partners have failed to follow advice to prioritise active travel and reduce care use, says the Active Travel Board for Wales in its new annual report. Recommendations set out in last year’s report have not been met, it states.
Alongside this, the transition to regional funding and the ending of a ringfenced Active Travel Fund are “deeply concerning”, says the Board.
