The Dutch government is investing up to €1bn (£880m) on cycling infrastructure to connect new homes across the country. This forms part of a €2.5bn (£2.19bn) package on roads, cycle paths, tunnels and tram lines to deliver transport links for 273,000 new homes.
In a bid to address a housing crisis, the Dutch government plans to build 100,000 new homes each year complemented by a sustainable transport network.
