Uber is looking to further develop its engagement with local transport authorities following participation in a mixed-fleet Demand Responsive Transport (DRT) pilot launched with the Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Combined Authority (CPCA).
The initiative integrates a DRT fleet with Ubers within a unified DRT digital platform run by WeMove for CPCA’s Tiger on Demand service, which operates in a number of rural areas including the Fenland communities around Chatteris and March.
