Rough sleepers create shelters in Gloucester car park

Homeless people living in a Gloucester car park have been creating temporary shelters.

Tents and structures are being erected in the King's Walk multi-storey car park.

Gloucester City Council said it has developed a plan to tackle the problem. A spokesperson for the council said: “People who find themselves homeless in Gloucester have access to a comprehensive range of support services, now delivered by the charity Julian House.

"They are designed to help rough sleepers and those at risk...
