There was a 19% rise last year in the number of incidents where a pedestrian was injured in a collision with a cyclist, DfT data shows. There were 603 incidents compared with 507 similar injuries in 2023.
Last year up to 321 of those collisions took place either on a pavement or a pedestrian crossing, a 9% rise from the 292 seen in 2023.
