New Bill introduces prison sentences for dangerous cycling offences

People found guilty of killing pedestrians due to dangerous cycling will face long prison sentences under the Crime and Policing Bill currently going through Parliament. The Bill, which is due to move to its second reading in the House  of Lords on 16 October, includes new cycling offences to tackle cases where victims have been killed or seriously injured by irresponsible cyclist behaviour.
