London NO2 levels below legal limits but other cities still exceed them

Nitrogen dioxide (NO2) levels in the capital have fallen to within the legal limit for the first time since UK regulations were introduced in 2010, according to new data from Defra (Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs).

The data reveals that while London has achieved its targets, cities with smaller populations and fewer vehicles such as Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool are still exceeding the legal limits.
