ScotRail scheme supports companion travel for visually impaired

People accompanying a rail passenger with visual impairments are being offered free travel across Scotland as part of a trial.

During the one-year trial, which applies to all ScotRail train journeys, individuals holding an eye +1 National Entitlement Card (NEC) can travel with a companion at no additional cost.
