The Metropolitan Police is stepping up efforts to tackle the use of electric bikes, e-scooters and mopeds being used illegally on roads and pavements in the capital.
During an operation in Walthamstow, north east London, on 4 October, the Met seized 23 e-bikes and mopeds, which either had no insurance, were being ridden without a licence, or had been illegally modified, a Met spokesperson told LTT.
