The leader of Central Bedfordshire Council, Cllr Adam Zerny, has been appointed the new Chair of England’s Economic Heartland (EEH). He takes over from Oxfordshire Council leader Liz Leffman, following the end of her two-year tenure as Chair of the Sub-national Transport Body.
