Electric bike hire in Hackney will be capped at the same level as a single bus fare after the London borough agreed a five-year contract with operators Lime and Voi.
From 1 October, Voi rides within Hackney will be capped at £1.75 for 30 minutes - the same price as a London bus fare. Meanwhile, Lime will offer discounted rides through a LimePass+ option, allowing riders to buy an unlimited monthly pass for £45, which caps every ride at £1.
