Work is set to start next month on the £29m Selby Station Gateway project marking stage one of the regeneration of the North Yorkshire town.

The scheme will encourage the use of sustainable transport and boost the local economy, said North Yorkshire County Council.

Unused buildings surrounding Selby railway station, including the former railway social club and empty business centre units, will be removed.
