ITS UK appoints new Chair and Vice Chair

Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS UK) has elected Catherine Whitfield of Mott MacDonald as new Chair, and Caroline Hildreth of Netcompany, as  Vice Chair. Both have previously served on the Board for a number of years, Whitfield as Vice Chair and Mildreth as Finance Lead.

The appointments follow outgoing Chair Stuart Scott stepping down following two and a half years in the role. He  will continue to remain on the Board of ITS UK.

Whitfield recently joined Mott MacDonald as ITS Projects Director after a number of years at WSP. She has over 25 years’ experience working in the intelligent transport industry. 

Over her career she has worked with a range of organisations including National Highways, the Department for Transport, Transport Scotland and the Dubai Transport Authority. 

Mildreth is a Principal (Transport) at Netcompany, where she works across the transport industry, developing business-critical IT systems, self-service solutions, portals and service-oriented architectures using modern technologies.
