Police told to stop existing practice on use of personal camera evidence

The National Police Chiefs’ Council has told forces to cease existing practice on forensic analysis of “journeycam” from the public, until compliance with a national Code of Practice is agreed. It has also said that only forensically trained personnel can carry out the analysis.
