Horbury takes helm at Bus Users UK

Lydia Horbury has been appointed new Chief Executive of Bus Users UK. In her new role she plans to champion accessible and inclusive transport as well as tackling transport poverty, and reducing loneliness, isolation, social exclusion, carbon emissions and congestion across England by “shaping policy, influencing decision-makers, and amplifying passenger voices”. She previously spent three years as Head of External Relations at Rishworth School, before which she spent 13 years at Kirklee College in a range of roles.
