The Welsh Government proposes to replace seven transport grants with a Regional Transport Plan (RTP) delivery fund, distributed to the four Corporate Joint Committees (CJCs).
The CJCs are statutory groupings of local authorities which have a duty to create and deliver RTPs and Regional Transport Delivery Plans. They consulted on their draft RTP and RTDPs in the spring and are submitting final versions to the government this summer.
