Inclusive public transport and good quality active travel infrastructure will help improve the nation’s health, states a new Government report. The 10 Year Health Plan sets out how the NHS will be reinvented through three shifts: hospital to community; analogue to digital; and sickness to prevention.
Within the168-page report, there is only a brief reference to transport. However, the Government does commit to delivering “greener, safer and healthier transport”.
