Robin Cambery has been appointed Deputy Director of Transport Appraisal and Strategic Modelling at the DfT, succeeding Liz Jacobs who has moved on to be a Deputy Director in the Local Transport team.
Cambery has worked at the DfT on modelling and appraisal in the Transport Appraisal and Strategic Modelling team for 18 years.
He has been Chief Transport Modeller and Head of Modelling and Appraisal Methods since 2017, heading up the team delivering transport modelling and appraisal research and model development, including the National Transport Model and TAG updates.
