Number of road deaths rises in capital but casualties down, TfL analysis shows

The number of road fatalities in the capital rose last year, new figures from Transport for London (TfL) show. In 2024 110 people were killed on London's roads, up from 95 people in 2023, data shows.

But the number of people killed or seriously injured (KSI) in London fell from 3,710 in 2023 to 3,696 in 2024, the lowest level on record outside of years affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, says TfL.
