Speed limits back to 30mph from 20mph on Wrexham roads

Two roads in Wrexham have become the first in north Wales to revert to 30mph after the Welsh Government introduced a 20mph default speed limit in 2023.

The two roads are the first of 52 sections of highway where the speed limit is going to be increased back to 30mph by Wrexham County Council, after the publication of revised guidance by the Welsh Government.
