Dudley Council has approved emergency funding of up to £100,000 to rectify an issue with test tracks at the town’s Very Light Rail Innovation Centre (VLRNIC) being at the wrong level.
The council was notified by Transport for West Midlands (TfWM) last year that the tracks that cross the road near the Dudley Castle tram stop will be at the wrong level and therefore unusable once a temporary road surface is removed.
